Martha Browning

Martha "Midge" Browning, 81, of Arma, Kansas, died Sunday, January 6, 2007 at Landmark Hospital, Joplin, Missouri. She was born December 4, 1926 in Council Grove, Kansas, the daughter of Alva and Lillian Strong Wilkerson. She married Dale W. Browning on February 28, 1948. He preceded her in death on February 22, 2002. Martha retired from Craw-Kan Telephone Company. She was preceded in death also by an infant daughter, Bonnie. Survivors include her daughter, Tammie Cates & Kevin of Pittsburg, Kansas; her grandchildren, Jamie DeMott & Ricky and Brian McClanahan and her great grandchildren, Adriaen Gillespie, McKenzie DeMott and Owen DeMott. Cremation. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.
