Marion Morris

Marion Jeremiah Morris, age 82, Kansas City, KS died Tuesday August 12 at the Kansas City Hospice House. He was born November 23, 1925 at Belton, Missouri the son of Jud and Myrtle Gregg Morris. He worked for Brown Brothers Construction and later for Pflum Brothers Plumbing. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by one grandson, two brothers, Roy and Oscar Miller, two sisters, Bessie Palmer and Lula Anderson. He is survived by two sons, Larry Morris, and Jerry Morris and wife Paulette both of Kansas City, Kansas, two daughters, Linda Moore and husband Gary of Kansas City, Kansas and Lee Hill of Tonganoxie, Kansas, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday August 15, 2008 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in LaCygne, Kansas. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the Kansas City Hospice House.
