Marcella Mary "Marcy" Carlson, age 87, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2012 twenty days before her 88th birthday. She was born on March 23, 1924 at St. Rosa, Minnesota the daughter of William and Mary Bischoff Zimmerman. She is survived by husband Elwyn "John" Carlson, daughter Patricia Benham, son-in-law Timothy Benham, and Grandsons David, Samuel and Timothy of Enid, OK. Memorial Mass Thursday, March 8, 11:00 AM, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 727 Main Street, Mound City, KS. The family suggests contributions to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
