While always a wonderful mother who maintained an unwavering steadfastness, it seemed that being a grandmother was what Louise was born to be. Louise was an excellent cook, and brought her east coast Italian food heritage to Kansas. She was also an accomplished seamstress, and it was not uncommon during the 1960s to see her cutting out patterns and sewing on her Singer. While her children were in high school Louise worked part-time at the Braemore outlet store in Pleasanton, bringing her great knowledge of patterns and sewing to the retail outlet. Louise passed away peacefully on July 6th at LakeWood Care Center in Baudette, Minnesota. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, grandparents, parents, an infant sister - Teresa, and her brothers and sisters - Joseph, Mariana, Emma, and Mario. As Nana to her grandchildren, Louise shone with all the finest qualities of being a grandmother. Her kind, loving, gentle spirit cherished each grandchild; celebrating their individual spirit and uniqueness. While she treasured each one, she also guarded each one in her own unique way, protecting them from harm, both physical and emotional.
