LLOYD SNYDER Lloyd Harold Snyder, 76, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Fredonia Regional Hospital, Fredonia, Kansas. He was born January 12, 1930 at Deerfield, Missouri, the son of Lawrence and Dora Russell Snyder. He was married to Treva Cannon on November 5, 1950 at Fulton, Kansas. She preceded him in death on December 17, 2005. He was employed with Kansas City Power & Light as a line foreman for 43 years and also farmed. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and active member of the Lions Club. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Stephen. Survivors include three sons, Larry Snyder & wife, Danita of Pleasanton, Kansas; Rick Snyder & wife, Judy of Iola, Kansas and David Snyder & wife, Rita of Ottawa, Kansas; one daughter-in-law, Vickie; one brother, Russell Snyder & wife, Clara of Fort Scott, Kansas; one sister, Marybelle Hall & husband, Joe of Bronson, Kansas; eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Monday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Support Group of Windsor Place Nursing Home. Interment will be in Pleasanton Cemetery. Arrangements: Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home, Pleasanton, Kansas.
