Lloyd Ray Bradley, age 70, Prescott, Kansas died Saturday August 28, 2010 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, Kansas. He was born in Vernon County, Missouri on February 11, 1940 the son of Dale and Helen Kleitz Bradley. He was a Navy Veteran. Lloyd worked in the construction industry. He was a member of the Horse Shoe Pitchers Association, Gold Prospectors Association of America, and Senior Olympics. He enjoyed watching his niece and granddaughter participate in sports at Jayhawk Linn High School. Lloyd participated in Walk Across Kansas, worked puzzles and was a "jack of all trades". He was married to Shirley Geer in April of 1981. She preceded him in death in January of 1999. Also preceding him was a son Robert Heath, and three sisters: Mary Ann Tennis, Lois Wisdom, and Sally Sumners. He is survived by a son Doug King of Hume, Missouri, three daughters; Lynn Love of Lawrence, Kansas, Kathy Wood of Prescott, Kansas, and Diana Morrison of Hume, Missouri; seven brothers; Henry Bradley, Harley Bradley, Byron Bradley, Edward Bradley, Martin Bradley, Rudy Bradley, and Charles Bradley; four sisters; Margie Charley, Barbara Brown, Donna McCulley and Cynthia Cole; and several grand and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday September 1, 2010 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Pleasanton, Kansas. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery near Walker, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Prescott Sr. Citizens.
