Linda Slater

Linda Louise Slater, 45, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010. She was born December 1, 1964 at Fort Scott, Kansas, the daughter of Francis Mack and Edna Wallace Probasco. She graduated from Pleasanton High School , class of 1983. On August 8, 1986, she married John Slater. Linda enjoyed her cats and birds and loved roses. She was proud of her son, Christopher and his participation in his sports and school activities and his graduation from Beloit Technical School and she loved being Grandma to Luke. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her husband, John Slater of the home; her mother, Edna Probasco; one son, Christopher Slater, and one brother, Mack Probasco, all of Pleasanton, Kansas; a step son, Rodney Slater and her grandson, Luke. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Friday at the chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Interment will be in the Pleasanton Cemetery.
