Larry Morgan

Larry Franklin Morgan, age 67 of LaCygne, Kansas died Monday December 21, 2009 at his home. He was born on November 18, 1942 in Iowa Falls, Iowa the son of Herman and Elenor Duncan Morgan. He worked in the construction industry as an operator and carpenter. He was a member of the Operator's Union and the Carpenter's Union. He married Marilyn Nelson on November 20, 1970. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Morgan on August 7, 2003. He is survived by his wife Marilyn of the home, sons, Russ Morgan of Mound City, Kansas, and Ty Aldridge and Diane of Olathe, Kansas, two daughters, Jamie New and Deedra Smith both of Ottawa, Kansas, a sister, Sharon Akins of Lawrence, Kansas, grandchildren, Jessica, Justin and wife Amber, Jillian and husband Erik, Jeremiah, Derek, Shane, Jimmy, Damon and Jen, great grandchildren, Justice, Stone, Cheyenne, Julie, and Isabella and niece and nephew Kim and Kurt. Cremation has been accorded to honor Larry's wishes. A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 3 PM Sunday December 27, 2009 at the family home, 21766 Taylor Rd, LaCygne, Kansas.
