Kenneth Spratt

Kenneth E. Spratt, 98, of Hume, Missouri, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the Prescott Country View Nursing Home, Prescott, Kansas. He was born June 10,1 910 in Drexel, Missouri, the son of Walter and Nancy Evans Spratt. He married Minnie E. McKibben on November 10, 1929 at Hume, Missouri. She preceded him in death on July 21, 2001. He was a farmer and also drove a school bus for the Hume Schools. Kenneth was a member of the Hume Christian Church, the Grange and former mayor of Hume. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Lee and husband, J.R. of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Lila Renken and husband, Don of Phillipsburg, Missouri; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; seven great great granddaughers and several nieces and nephews. Kenneth was a beloved father and grandfather and known to many as a"good neighbor and friend". Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 21, 2008 at the Hume Christian Church, Hume, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the church. Contributions are suggested to the Hume Christian Church or the Prescott Country View Nursing Home Activity Fund.
