Kenneth Delmer McGee

Kenneth Delmer McGee, age 96 of Centerville, Kansas passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025 in Garnett, Kansas. He was born the son of Delmer Clinton and Nellie (Hibbs) McGee on July 2, 1928 in Centerville, Kansas. He graduated from Parker High School in 1946. He joined the United States Army in 1951, after serving his country he was honorably discharged in 1953 and returned home to the family farm. In 1955, he married the love of his life Kathryn Kite to this union three daughters were born. Kathryn preceded him in death on January 18, 2022. Kenneth loved being at home tending and caring for his animals and the farm, his family, country music and the Kansas City Chiefs. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Victor McGee, and five sisters, Vivian White, Maxine Wuesterfeld, Darlene Albright, Marjorie Jean Foxgruber and Ruth McGee. He is survived by four daughters, Connie Reiter (Howard) of Kincaid, Karen Kay Clayton of Olathe, Patty Latta (Randy) of Iola, Lillian Kite ofCenterville, seven grandchildren, Gary Reiter, Angela Reiter, Dean Friend, James Lloyd, Ryan Latta, Jarred Latta, Trent Latta and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Centerville Community Church.  Visitation will be from 6pm to 8 pm, Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Centerville Community Church.  Burial will follow in the Centerville Cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Centerville Community Church.  Online condolences may be left at www.schniederfunerals.com
