Katie Black

Katie Dimples Black, 85, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Monday, April 16, 2007 at Prescott Countryview Nursing Home. She was born October 9, 1922 in Pleasanton, Kansas, the daughter of John and Katie Watson Ralph. She married Kenneth Black on April 28, 1940 at Hume, Missouri. He preceded her on February 28, 1988. She was a homemaker. Katie was the last of thirteen siblings. Survivors include three daughters, Pat Thompson, Palm Springs, California; Tina Fewer & Joe of Henderson, Nevada and Irene Teeter & Lawrence of Mound City, Kansas; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 20, 2007 at Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 until service time.
