Katherine Elizabeth Lindemann Davis, age 95 of Pleasanton, Kansas died Saturday January 23, 2010 at the Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott, Kansas. She was born on November 29, 1914 at Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of George and Maude Cowan Smith. Katherine owned and operated Mission Food Locker. She married George Lindemann he preceded her in death, she then married Paul Davis who also preceded her in death. Katherine was a faithful Christian who belonged to many local churches, a member of the Lions club, was an avid member of the Democratic Party, and enjoyed dancing. She was preceded in death by a daughter; Barbara Fennell, two brothers; Bertiand and Jack Smith, a sister; Georgia Goodwin, and a son in law, Tom Scott. Survivors include one daughter; Patricia Scott of Pleasanton, Kansas, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Services for Katherine will be held at 11 am Wednesday January 27, 2010 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
