Karen Kay Morse, 42, of Centerville, Kansas, died Saturday, January 29, 2005 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. She was born August 7, 1962 in Clinton, Missouri, the daughter of Alva and Betty Finks West. She graduated from Leeton High School in 1981. She married John Morse on July 19, 1986 at Lee's Summit, Missouri. Karen worked in inventory control for Morse Auto Salvage. She attended the Wall Street Church in Mound City, Kansas and was a member of the P.T.G.., Parker, Kansas. Karen was a volunteer firefighter with the Linn County Rural Fire Department Station #930. She was preceded in death by her father, Alva West. Survivors include her husband, John of the home; two daughters, Tara and Angela Morse; her mother, Betty Green of Osawatomie, Kansas; four brothers; Donald L. West of Springfield, Missouri, Phillip West of Overland Park, Kansas, Richard D. West of Kansas City, Missouri and Mark West of Ozark, Missouri and two sisters, Judith Bennett of Fort Worth, Texas and Patricia Hargrove of Lone Jack, Missouri.
