Joseph Walrod

Joseph Alan "Joe" Walrod, age 53, formerly of Pleasanton, Kansas passed away on Wednesday July 10, 2013. He was born on March 28, 1960 at Fort Scott, Kansas the son of James D. and Rose M. Carvo Walrod. He graduated from Pleasanton High School in the Class of 1978. He married Jeanette Ramsey. To this union, two daughters were born, Reality and Melissa. This marriage ended in divorce. He worked as a machinist for Marshall Springs. Joe was a member of the Pleasanton First Baptist Church, enjoying fishing and NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, James Walrod III and Dwight "Tony" Walrod and a sister Roxanne Cox. He is survived by two daughters, Reality Tucker and Melissa Foreman, three brothers: Richard, David and Don Walrod, one sister Carol Cole, four grandchildren: Jacob, Haleigh and Nathan Miller and John Gilmore and several other loved ones. Memorial service will be 3 PM Saturday July 27, 2013 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. On line condolences for the family can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
