Joseph Cox

Joseph E. "Joe" Cox, age 61, Paola, Kansas passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020.  He was born on June 16, 1958 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Norman and Elizabeth Secrest Cox.  He was united in marriage to Cindy Smith on August 28, 2000.  Joe worked as an equipment operator for KDOT for eighteen plus years.  He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Roger Cox.  Joe is survived by his wife, Cindy, a son, Christopher Brooks, two daughters, Chrystal Brooks and Amanda Shaw, and five grandchildren, Josiah, Cyla, Cooper, Lynsey and Remington.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday June 20, 2020 at the Pleasanton Nazarene Church.  Burial in the Pleasanton Cemetery.
