Joneta Shuart

Joneta Jane Jackson Shuart, age 72 of Yates Center, Kansas died Tuesday December 10, 2013 at the Life Care Center of Burlington, Kansas. She was born on February 25, 1941 at La Cygne, Kansas the daughter of Harold and Ruby Kimzey Saunders. She married Donald Rife on August 29, 1957 to this union three children were born, they were later divorced. She then married Harold Jackson on August 27, 1981 he preceded her in death on March 27, 1994 She then Married Harry Shuart, he preceded her in death on February 28, 2003. Jane worked as a housewife raising her three children, was a member of the Pleasanton First Baptist Church, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary # 862, a volunteer at the PleasantView Manor and Sunset Manor and loved playing the piano. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include two sons: Harold Rife of Yates Center, Kansas and Jerry Rife and wife Theresa of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, a daughter Donneta Karmann and husband Danny of Yates Center, Kansas, nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday December 14, 2013 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory Pleasanton Chapel. Burial will be in the Trading Post Cemetery near Pleasanton. The family suggests contributions to Disabled American Veterans and may be left in c/o the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory P.O. Box 525 Pleasanton, Kansas 66075.
