John Waldmer

John Eric Waldmer, age 64 of Mound City, Kansas died Monday July 18, 2011 at the Kansas City V.A. Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on April 27, 1947 at Mound City, Kansas the son of Herman and Dorothy Croan Waldmer. He was a 1965 graduate of Mound City High School. He served his country in Special Forces during the Vietnam War. John was a member of the Vietnam Veteran Motorcycle Club. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother Herman Waldmer, two uncles Harry and Edwin Waldmer. He is survived by a son Michael Waldmer of Joplin, Missouri, his mother Dorothy Waldmer of Aurora, Missouri, two brothers Bruce and Mike Waldmer, a sister Pamela waldmer, and a grandson Dylan. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday July 25, 2011 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home Mound City, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to service time at the funeral home.
