John Mick

John T. Mick, age 66, LaCygne, Kansas passed away Thursday November 28, 2013. He was born on January 22, 1947 at Tipton, Kansas the son of John and Esther Claycamp Mick. He married Arlene Urban on October 1, 1966 at Osborne, Kansas. He was a Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam as a Machinist Mate Second Class having completed Nuclear Power School. John worked in the HVAC and plumbing business, most recently for the Missouri Public School System. He enjoyed working with wood, playing guitar and flying radio controlled airplanes which he made. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Arlene of the home, son, Shawn Mick and wife Cindy and four grandchildren: Christine, Timothy, Zachary and Matthew Mick. A service to commemorate John''s life will be held 5 PM, Tuesday December 3, 2013 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel. Visitation will follow service until 7 PM.
