John Earnest

John Raymond Earnest, 69, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Medicalodge Nursing Home, Fort Scott, Kansas. He was born March 11, 1942 in Weed, California, the son of John and Mary Earnest. He was married to Olive Reed and to this union three children were born. He was self employed as a welder and farmer. John was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Donna Thibodeu. Survivors include two sons; Gene Earnest of Ottawa, Kansas and John Earnest; two daughters, Carolyn Yoder of Welda, Kansas and Sharon Earnest of Osawatomie, Kansas; one brother, Charles Earnest of Pleasanton, Kansas; one sister, Bernice Salkeld of Rockport, Texas; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
