John Henry Boyles, age 75, Kansas City, Missouri formerly of the Foster and Rich Hill, Missouri area died Sunday April 29, 2012. He was born on March 6, 1937 at Foster the son of Leonard Henry and Leona Mae Shelton Boyles. He graduated from Rich Hill High School and married Joyce Sivils on April 19, 1958 at the Hume, Missouri United Methodist Church. He worked as a truck driver Canteen Vending for many years. He was a member of the Leawood Baptist Church, Teamsters Local #58, and very much enjoyed hunting and fishing around the family farm in the Foster area. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Robert, James, Leon and Jerry and an infant sister Ruby Mae. John is survived by his wife Joyce of the home, three sons: John Michael Boyles and Pamela of Windsor, Missouri, David Leonard Boyles and Sheryl of Parker, Colorado and Christopher Matthew Boyles and Tara of Alpharetta, Georgia, one daughter, Lori Kay Gillenwater and Jeff of Prairie Village, Kansas, three brothers: Bill, Joe and Gary Boyles, three sisters: Mary Pitts, Pat Mellenbruch, Sue Livengood, ten grandchildren: Rebecca, Brian and wife Kristin, John Robert, Haley Megan, Caitlyn, Brett, Lauren, Brooke, Timothy and Sarah, and three great grandchildren: Dale Joseph, Mackenzie and Amelia. Funeral service will be held 10 AM Wednesday May 2, 2012 at the Leawood Baptist Church. Burial will be 2:30 PM, Independence Cemetery, Hume, Missouri.
