Joe Talley

Joe Alan Talley Sr., age 53, of the Tanglewood Community near LaCygne, Kansas died Thursday September 3, 2009. He was born October 22, 1955 at Shawnee Mission, Kansas the son of Leon and Wilma Ulre Wright. He worked at Vitacraft Manufacturing for many years before moving to Tanglewood and worked for the maintenance department. He married Helen Jo Hogan on May 19, 1991 at Osawatomie Kansas. He was a member of the Greenwood Baptist Church and enjoyed pitching horse shoes with family and friends. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Larry and Roger Talley. He is survived by his wife Helen Jo Talley of the home, two sons, Christopher Talley and Bambi of LaCygne, Kansas and Joe A. Talley Jr. and Jodi of Gladewater, Texas, one daughter Sabrina Dame and Preston of McClouth, Kansas, and three grandchildren, Preston, Matthew, and Aiden. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday September 9, 2009 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in LaCygne, Kansas. Burial will be in the Brooklyn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday September 8 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home.
