Jewell Fleming

Jewell R. Fleming, age 70, Pleasanton, Kansas passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 at Mercy Health Center. She was born on September 8, 1943 at Linwood, Kansas the daughter of Frank and Alice Carter Rhoades. She graduated from Pleasanton High School. She married Edward Fleming on October 28, 1962. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery. Jewell was preceded in death by her father and a daughter Julie. She is survived by her husband, Ed; mother, Alice Witcher; three sons: Eddie, Curtis, and Jason Fleming; two sisters, Judy Wade and Joann Washburn, nine grand and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel.
