Jessica Young

Jessica Dee Young, 29, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Mercy Health Systems, Fort Scott, Kansas. She was born November 12, 1975 in Fort Hood, Texas, the daughter of Bobbie Joe and Mary Ann Britt Young. She was a cashier at Wal-Mart, and had received her CNA and CMA. Jessica attended the First Baptist Church of Pleasanton. She enjoyed bowling, playing pool and she was a member of the Ladies Golf Association at Sugar Valley Lakes. She is survived by her parents; Bobbie and Mary Ann Young of Mound City, Kansas; two sons; David Joseph Ross of Olathe, Kansas and Harley Lee Young of Pleasanton, Kansas; one daughter; Jallisa Dawn Young of Pleasanton, Kansas; one brother, Bobby Joe Young Jr. of Atchison, Kansas; one sister, Julie Ann Hutchinson of Amoret, Missouri and her paternal grandmother, Elsie Young of Portageville, Missouri. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at the Coffel-Schneider chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 7-8 PM, Tuesday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association. Interment will be in Pleasanton Cemetery.
