Jeanie Murrow

Jeanie Murrow, age 71, Blue Mound, Kansas passed away on Saturday May 24, 2014. She was born on December 8, 1942 at Blue Mound, Kansas the daughter of Lloyd and Betty Johnson Spillman. She graduated from Blue Mound High School. Jeanie married Dean Murrow on September 11, 1960 at Blue Mound. She worked as a secretary in the Jayhawk school district and later as a paraeducator in the Fort Scott school district. She was a member of the Blue Mound United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Dean, a son, Dale Murrow and wife Janelle, daughters; Pamela Knopp and husband Jeff, and Stacy Murrow, a sister, Carol Cox, and five grandchildren: Dillon, Griffin, Mason, Garrett and Josie. Funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the Blue Mound United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Sunny Slope Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Monday at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel The family suggests contributions Linn County or Bourbon County Sharing Bucket.
