Janice Sage

Janice Opal Sage, age 72, of the Lake Chaparral Community died, Saturday July 27, 2013 at her home. She was born on September 15, 1940 at Leavenworth, Kansas the daughter of William and Ethel Jenkins Wells. Janice was married to Steven Sage, he preceded her in death on November 22, 2010. Janice worked as a Homemaker raising her two children. She loved flowers and gardening, enjoyed talking on the phone, and Native American crafts and artifacts. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a brother William Wells. Survivors include a son Dirk Gardner of the Lake Chaparral Community; a daughter Penny Gardner of Atchison, Kansas; three sisters: Kathy, Cheryl, and Carolyn; seven grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 Pm Tuesday July 30, 2013 at the Church of the Nazarene in Pleasanton, Kansas.
