James Mark

James Lee Mark, 58, of Emporia, Kansas, died Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Newman Hospital, Emporia. He was born November 8, 1948 in Emporia, Kansas, the son of Samuel James and Alberta Elizabeth Cochran Mark. He received a Bachelors degree from the College of Emporia. He married Glenda Ruth Rodgers on April 21, 1990. James was employed with the Santa Fe Rail Road and was a member of the Flint Hills Bee Keepers. He is survived by his wife; Glenda of Emporia; two aunts, Wilma Dill of Kansas City, Kansas and Ruby Baker of Emporia, Kansas; a brother-in-law, Floyd Rogers of Leroy, Kansas; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Hale & Billy and two nieces, Christina and Victoria Hale. Memorial contributions are suggested to the James Mark Memorial Fund c/o the funeral home, Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home, Box J, Mound City, Kansas.
