James Claud "Jamey" Ener, 40, of Butler, Missouri, died Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He was born March 24, 1968 in Lufkin, Texas, the son of James and Charlene Hammack Ener. He was employed as an auto mechanic. He was preceded in death by his father who died December 25, 2005 and his mother who died May 17, 2004. Survivors include one son; James Christopher Ener; three daughters, Samantha Charlene, Rebecca Ann and Jamie June Ener; two sisters, Colinda Bennett and Josie Arrendondo; his step-children; Michael and Megan Morris; Braxton Breckenbridge, Sierra Freeman and Miguel Barrea and the mothers of his children; Janis Harris, Lynn Morris, Emily Breckenridge, Tequila Ener and Carmen Barrea. Services will be held at 6:30 PM, Thursday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. A visitation will follow the service until 8:00 PM.
