Ida Paddock Sisson, 91, of Denison, Texas, formerly of Mound City, Kansas, died December 25, 2007 at her daughter's home in Denison. She was born September 14, 1916 in Linn County, Kansas, the daughter of L. Wilbur and Zelda Stites Dunavan. She married Loren Paddock August 7, 1937. He preceded her in death on April 10, 1990. She later married Pat Sisson, who also preceded her. Ida worked for the ASCS office and Herb Bollinger Insurance in Mound City, for a number of years. She was a member of the Mound City United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death also by one son, Garry Paddock two brothers, Charles & Russel Dunavan, one sister, Thelma Jones and a grandson, Les Minchew. Survivors include one son, Larry Paddock of Fulton, Kansas; one daughter, Leatrice Minchew of Denison, Texas; one brother, Owen Dunavan of Mound City, Kansas, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the United Methodist Church, Mound City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Friday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Mound City. Contributions are suggested to the United Methodist Church.
