Hubert Shaw

Hubert J. "Jerry" Shaw, 79, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at his home. He was born August 23, 1929 in Blue Mound, Kansas the son of Claude and Dorothy Marie Shaw. He was employed as an electrician with California Injection Moulding prior to his retirement. He served with the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Shirley and his second wife, Natalie. He is survived by his son, Christopher Shaw of Corona, California; two brothers, Chester Kershner of Moran, Kansas and Claude Kershner of Wichita, Kansas; one grandchild and his companion, Edna Herring. Graveside memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 16, 2009 at the National Cemetery, Fort Scott, Kansas.
