Howard Wright

Howard Robert Wright, 67,of Blue Mound, Kansas, died suddenly at his home on Monday, May 23, 2011. He was born January 16, 1944 in Fort Scott, Kansas, the son of Eldon and Orpha Mae Tillery Wright. Howard served with the United States Navy on the USS Enterprise during the Vietnam conflict. He was married to Marlene Cushman and to this union two daughters were born, Tina and Stace y. He later married Connie Noe on July 22, 1992. He was employed as a Millwright, retiring in 2002. After retirement he continued ranching and enjoyed watching the PBR and gardening. He was a member of the Blue Mound United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge and the Millwright Union Local #1529. Howard was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Stacey. Survivors include his wife, Connie of Blue Mound, Kansas a daughter, Tina Aggers and husband, Hal of Blue Mound, Kansas and his dogs, Lady & Peppi. Services were held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 27, 2011 at the United Methodist Church, Blue Mound, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM, Thursday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Mound City, Kansas. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Blue Mound United Methodist Church.
