Herbert Miller Sr.

HERBERT L. MILLER SR. Herbert L. Miller Sr., 85, of LaCygne, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at his home. He was born July 22, 1921 in Hallett, Oklahoma, the son of Anthony and Grace Bishop Miller. He served in the Army from 1942 to 1945, earning two Bronze Stars and many other medals and ribbons. He worked as a truck driver and in the roofing industry from 1958 to 1988. He married Mary Fanska on July 30, 1988 in Kansas City, Kansas. Over the years he has been blessed with many children from previous marriages. He is survived by his wife, Mary, of the home; two brothers, sons, daughters and many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 17, 2006 at Brooklyn Cemetery, LaCygne, Kansas. No visitation. Contributions are suggested to the Herbert Miller Memorial Fund.
