Harvey Mcfarland

Harvey Lee McFarland, age 89, Rich Hill, Missouri, formerly of Pleasanton, Kansas passed away on Monday July 29, 2013. He was born on October 23, 1923 at Fort Scott, Kansas the son of Austin and Martha Orlena Lemon McFarland. He married Winnie Chambers and later Lola Seuferling. Both marriages ended in divorce. He was a member of the Laborer''s Union, spending most of his time of employment with Pittman Construction. Harvey enjoyed hunting and fishing. His passion was coon hunting. He was preceded in death by one grandson. He is survived by five children: Ronny Lee McFarland, Donna Sue Lee, Joe Seuferling, Janice Seuferling and Elaine Seuferling, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday August 3, 2013 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Inurnment will be in the Bronson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Pleasanton Chapel. In lieu of flowers you may bring a toy for children to play with who are in a hospital.
