Harry Kratzer

Harry "Jim" R. Kratzer, age 72, of Linn Valley, Kansas passed away Wednesday August 25, 2010 at his home. He was born on January 21, 1938 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of John F. and Zetta Patterson Kratzer. He married Louise Kump on September 14, 1963 at St Anthony Church in Kansas City, Kansas. Harry retired from Sunshine Biscuits after eighteen years of service. He was a United States Marine Corp and Army Veteran. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in LaCygne, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John, and son, Kerry. He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Louise (Kump) Kratzer of the home; one son, Marty (Tammy) Kratzer; two daughters, Barb (Paul) Weber, Julie (Bill) Shriver; a brother Daniel (Nancy) Kratzer; two sisters, Shirley Feighner, and Carol (Dick)Rupp; and six grandchildren: Kayla, Austin, Mandi, Lexi, Molli and Taylor; and many other loving family members. He will be greatly missed by all. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM Monday August 30, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, LaCygne, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 10 AM at the church followed by the Rosary. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, Kansas.
