Harry Bergman

Harry T. Bergman, age 93 of LaCygne, Kansas died Thursday March 4, 2010 at the Paola North Point Skilled Nursing Facility. He was born on October 29, 1916 at LaCygne, Kansas the son of Henry and Stella Boyd Bergman. Harry was a WWII Veteran serving his country with the United States Army. He married Evelyn Nellsch on August 10, 1938 at Mound City, Kansas. She preceded him in death on December 16, 1998. Harry worked for the City of LaCygne Water and Gas Department. He was a past member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, American Legion, and loved to fish and hunt. He was also preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters, one grandchild, and one great grandchild. Survivors include three sons; Roy Bergman and Sue of Roseberg, Oregon, Carl Bergman and Carolyn of Granbury Texas, and Harry Bergman and Donna of Parker, Kansas, one daughter ; Barbara Harbison and Glen of LaCygne, Kansas, Three sisters; Alta Cole, Margie McGinnis, and Ruth Allison, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 2 PM Monday March 8, 2010 at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home LaCygne, Kansas. Visitation will be from 4 to 5 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Oak Lawn Cemetery LaCygne, Kansas. The family suggests contributions to Hospice of Kansas. Online Condolences may be left for the family at www.coffelschneider.com.
