Grace Allen

Grace Leona Allen, 97, of Prescott, Kansas, died Monday, April 18, 2005 at Prescott Country View Nursing Home where she had resided since 1995. She was born April 7, 1908 in Phillipsburg, Kansas, the daughter of Ambrose Robert and Iva May Perry Kite. She married Harry Allen on June 11, 1944 at Prescott United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on December 26, 1995. She was a member of the Prescott United Methodist Church since 1921; where she taught Sunday School and was also a member of UMW and Prescott EHU. She was a school teacher and homemaker. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 21, 2005 at the Prescott United Methodist Church, Prescott, Kansas. Visitation will be from 7-8 PM, Wednesday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Contributions are suggested to the United Methodist Women. Interment will be in Prescott Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home, Pleasanton, Kansas.
