Goldie Andrews

Goldie May Andrews, 80, of Trading Post, Kansas, died Thursday, January 10, 2008 at The Residencies, Pleasanton, Kansas. She was born April 26, 1927 in Platte City, Missouri, the daughter of Charles Homer and Ida Belle Wisdom Jackson. She married Harold Andrews on March 27, 1948 at Olathe, Kansas. She was baptized in the Marais D'Cygne River. Goldie worked in farming, at the Dari Curl and also at the State Hospital, prior to retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Dorothy. Survivors include her husband, Harold; her brothers, Glen Jackson & Lillie of Pleasanton, Kansas and Dean Jackson & Linda of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her sister, Nancy Culbertson & Wilbur of Osawatomie, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Roy Mathias, Anna VanNorman and Michelle Mathias. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 13, 2008 at the Brooklyn Cemetery, LaCygne, Kansas. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, LaCygne, Kansas.
