Glenna Wallace

Glenna Almeda Wallace, age 89, of Leavenworth, Kansas formerly of LaCygne, Kansas passed away on Sunday December 8, 2013. She was born at LaCygne, Kansas on January 1, 1924 the daughter of Lester and Ethel Mills Hoyt. She worked as a seamstress at Key Industries, and at Ft Leavenworth in the laundry department. She married Harvey Wallace October 16, 1949. He preceded her in death in November of 1965. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Clarence, Junior and J. W. Hoyt, and three sisters: Juanita Hoaglan, Pauline Bell and Ella Hill. She is survived by a sister Hazel Rhynerson and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Thursday December 12, 2013 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, LaCygne Chapel. Burial in the LaCygne Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 AM to service time at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Susan Komen Foundation.
