Glenna Stark

Glenna R. Stark, age 85 died Sunday November 7 2010, at the Golden Heights Nursing home at Garnett, Kansas. She was born on May 14, 1925 in Mound City, Kansas the daughter of Frank and Eliza Rownd Stark. Glenna enjoyed setting out side watching animals especially birds, squirrels, and her pet turtles. In her later years Glenna enjoyed playing bingo, knitting, listening to music and loved babies, and always attended church services with the other residents. She was adopted by all of the other resident's visitors as part of their own family and they called her their angel. She is survived by several cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday in the Woodland Cemetery at Mound City, Kansas. Contributions are suggested to the Golden Heights Nursing Home.
