Gleness Kluge

Gleness Marie Kluge, age 67, Mound City, Kansas passed away on Thursday March 13, 2014. She was born at Kansas City, Kansas on July 29, 1946 the daughter of Pete and Catherine Skinner Shomaker. She worked as a school bus driver in the Kansas City Kansas School District. She was married to Kurt Kluge on November 14, 1977. She enjoyed crocheting, watching humming birds and her flowers. She is survived by her husband Kurt, sons: Allen Sneed, Kevin Sneed, Joey Sneed, Scott Sneed, Drew Culbertson and Kurt Kluge II, daughters: Catherine Day, Trena Guckiean, Tina Spillman, Kim Thurman, and Tammy Judy, a sister, Sharon Potter and many grand and great grandchildren. Graveside funeral service will be held 2 PM Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, Kansas. A gathering of friends and family will be held following the graveside at the De Soto, Kansas VFW. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Monday at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Gleness Kluge Memorial Fund.
