Glen Clearwater

Glen Henry Clearwater, 84, of Fort Scott, Kansas, formerly of Linn County, Kansas, died Sunday, September 11, 2005 at Mercy Health Center, Fort Scott. He was born October 27, 1920 in LaCygne, Kansas, the son of Frank and Nellie Johnson Clearwater. He married Dorothy Johnson. She preceded him in death on November 21, 1968. Glen was a member of the Olson Frary Burkhart VFW Post #1165 of Fort Scott, Kansas. He was preceded in death also by his parents and one sister, Mary Hughes. Survivors include one son, James Clearwater, Waukegan, Illinois; one daughter, Pansy Stults & husband, Bill of Fort Scott, Kansas; one brother, Fred Clearwater of LaCygne, Kansas; three sisters, Thelma Sherman of Drexel, Missouri; Dorothy Coffeen of Mound City, Kansas and Edna Ross of Pleasanton, Kansas; five grandchildren; Lisa Cooper & husband, J.R., Mark Clearwater, Bianca Behm & husband, Ryan, Nick Stults & wife, Tabetha , Sue Anne Smith & husband, Jeremiah and nine great grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 15, 2005 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Mound City, KS. Visitation will be from 7-8 PM, Wednesday.
