Gerald Graves

Gerald Wayne Graves, 50, of Mound City, Kansas, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at his home. He was born May 6, 1961, in Paola, Kansas, the son of Joseph and Joan Smothers Graves. He was employed as a truck driver and in maintenance at Sugar Valley. He was a 1980 graduate of Spring Hill High School. Gerald enjoyed playing pool and fishing and also worked as a bartender for the Hide Out Bar in Spring Hill, Kansas. Gerald was preceded in death by one sister, Vicky Lynn Eiken Cole. Survivors include his parents, Joe & Joan Graves of Mound City, Kansas; one sister, Tina Manns of Spring Hill, Kansas; two nephews, Bret Cole and Zachary Manns; a niece, Mellisa Manns and a great niece, Chevonna Cole. Cremation. No formal services. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
