GEORGIA BROWN Georgia Ann Brown, 68, of Blue Mound, Kansas, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. She was born February 22, 1942 in Benton County, Missouri, the daughter of David and Helen Estes Herren. Georgia was employed as a school bus driver for USD #346. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Blue Mound Sr. Citizens organization. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, baking and sewing; collecting porcelain dolls, and making doll clothes for them. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Brown Jr and a daughter, Loretta "Lori" Mozingo. Survivors include her son, Clifford Brown III and Tricia of Iola, Kansas; one brother, David Herren of Boicourt, Kansas; three sisters, Patricia Willcut of Blue Mound, Kansas; Nora McDaniel of Lees Summit, Missouri and Gladys Wiklund of Andover, Kansas; two grandchildren, Clifford Brown IV, and Allison Marie Brown and Shaun Ludlum. Graveside memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Sunny Slope Cemetery, Blue Mound, Kansas. Friends and family are invited to gather at the Blue Mound Sr. Center following the services and are asked to bring a covered dish. Contributions are suggested to the Blue Mound Sr. Citizens Center.
