Fred Victor Brown, 84, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Monday, September 12, 2005 at Mercy Health Systems, Fort Scott, Kansas. He was born May 25, 1921 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Harry and Pearl Kelley Brown. He married Vivian Fuller on August 23, 1983. Prior to his retirement, Fred worked as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, T.J. Brown; four brothers, Clifford, Clinton, Andy and Joe and three sisters, Lena, Alma and Evelyn. Survivors include his wife, Vivian of Pleasanton, Kansas; one stepson; Gary Levy of Kansas City, Kansas; three brothers, Tom Brown of Mound City, Kansas; Bill Brown of Pleasanton, Kansas and Johnnie Brown of Humansville, Missouri; nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and his father-in-law, John Fuller. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at the Coffel-Schneider chapel, Pleasanton, Kansas. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Contributions are suggested to the Pleasanton Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Green Valley Cemetery, Pleasanton, Kansas.
