Frank Makemson

Frank Lovilo Makemson, St. Paul, Kansas formerly of Linn County, Kansas passed on Sunday, December 6, 2015. He was born on September 10, 1937 at Pleasanton, Kansas the son of Oscar Raymond and Alice Adeline Holt Makemson. He ran a Grade A Dairy until the mid 1970''s and then began raising beef cattle. He enjoyed working on small engines. He was a maintainer operator for Linn County Road Department before his retirement. He married Donna Tillery on January 25, 1960 at Garnett, Kansas. Frank was preceded in death by his parents,. one brother, Gerald, two sisters, Dorothy Clay and Aldie Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Donna, daughter Donita Paulie and significant other, David Steinbacher, three grandchildren: Chelisa Sturm and Mikel, Brent Paulie and Kara, and Blake Paulie and Robin, and two great grandchildren, Aiden and Camryn Sturm. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m, Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the Schneider Mound City Chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Frank Makemson Memorial Fund.
