Francis Lindell

Francis Elmer Lindell, age 70, Pleasanton, Kansas died Sunday May 20, 2012 as the result of a tractor accident. He was born on June 9, 1941 at Fort Scott, Kansas the son of Elmer and Ada Goodenough Lindell. He graduated from Pleasanton High School and attended Kansas State University. He married Donna Ary who peceded him in death on February 28, 2005. He later married Nancy Benedict. Francis was a member of the First Christian Church, Pleasanton and also attended the Hammond United Methodist Church. He served on the Linn County Fair Board, as a 4H Leader and was a member of the KLA. He is survived by his wife Nancy of the home, two sons, Scott Lindell of Pleasanton and Jim Lindell and Stacie of Conyers, Georgia, a daughter Terese Crouse and Chad of BelAire, Kansas, a step daughter Janna Cole and Jim of Gridley, Kansas, two brothers, Charles Lindell and Doris and Vernon Lindell and Roberta, a sister, Ruth Winterscheid and Gerald, thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Burial will be in the Littell Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday at the Pleasanton Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Francis Lindell Memorial Fund.
