Flossie Wetzel

Flossie Wetzel, age 90, Hume, Missouri died November 26, 2009. She was born on December 21, 1918 the daughter of Charles and Cara Lee Wetzel. She spent most of her life on a farm North of Hume, Missouri. She was employed as a nurse at the Bates County Hospital for twenty-five years. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Charles, and three sisters, Florence, Nettie and Irene and one niece Irma. She is survived by two nephews Charles Wetzel of Springs, Texas, Ralph Wetzel of Blue Springs, Missouri and six nieces: Joyce Schasteen of Arlington, Texas, Sue Newbauer of Brilson, Texas, Roselea DeMott of Pleasanton, Kansas, Lenore Miller of Rich Hill, Missouri, Hazel Weber of Linn Valley, Kansas and Katherine Harris of Drexel, Missouri. Graveside funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday November 28 at the Independence Cemetery near Hume, Missouri. Contributions are suggested to Prescott Country View.
