Florence Leisure

Florence Irene Leisure, 86, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Mercy Hospital, Fort Scott, Kansas. She was born February 24, 1926 at Fort Scott, Kansas, the daughter of Lester and Edna Insley. She married Dale Leisure on March 20, 1950 at Benton County, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on December 28, 2002. Florence was a member of the Pleasanton Presbyterian Church and assisted with Meals on Wheels in Pleasanton. She was preceded in death also by a daughter, Diane Clements and two brothers, Curtis and Victor Insley. Survivors include three sons; Daniel Wayne, and Robert E. Leisure, of Pleasanton, Kansas, and Marvin Lee Leisure of Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Charlene Chatfield of Houston, Texas and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the National Cemetery, Fort Scott, Kansas. Contributions are suggested to the donor's charity of choice.
