Evelyn Russell

Evelyn Marie Russell, age74, of LaCygne, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at the Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. She was born June 14, 1930, the daughter of Delbert James Cornett and Viola Alice Rookstool (Cornett). After graduating from high School, she worked as a Secretary for several years before marrying James Ervin Russell on March 17, 1951 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a mother and homemaker who enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing and fishing. She attended the LaCygne Christian Church and the Beagle Methodist Church. She is survived by 2 sons, David Russell and wife, Michelle of Erie, Kansas, Jeffrey Russell and wife, Allison of Garnett, kansas, a daughter, Cynthia Johnson of Louisburg, kansas, 3 brothers, Delbert, James and Ernest Cornett; five grandhcildren, Joshua and Tara Russell, Christine, Jennifer and Jeremiah Johnson and two great grandchildren, Madison Dillow and Lyric Russell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin who died on November 20, 2002, and a brother, John Cornett.
