Evelyn Linville

Evelyn "Christine" Linville, 80, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Via Christi Hospital, Pittsburg, Kansas. She was born May 11, 1931 in Pleasanton, Kansas, the daughter of Robert and Jewel Shaw Mitts. She was married to Elton Fletcher and to this union, eight children were born. She later married Richard Linville who preceded her in death. She was preceded in death also by one son, Calvin Fletcher and an infant daughter, Virginia Fletcher. Survivors include her special friend, Bob Coppage; four sons; Dale, Robert, Richard and Wayne Fletcher; two daughters, Phillis Staton and Doris Ruppert; one brother, Willard Mitts; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Linville's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Pleasanton Cemetery, Pleasanton, Kansas.
