Eula Holden

Eula Joy Holden, age 88, of Parker, Kansas died Tuesday August 12, 2008 at Life Care in Osawatomie, Kansas. She was born on June 18, 1920 at LaCygne, Kansas the daughter of Jesse and Coral Shattuck Crisler. She married E. Edward Holden. To this union one daughter was born. Eula worked as an accountant in the insurance industry, but her true calling was in the ministry. She attended LIFE Bible College in Los Angeles, CA and was an ordained minister in the Church of the Foursquare Gospel. She was an accomplished pianist and self taught in the harmonica and accordion. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Frank, Wayne, Jay and Alden Crisler, and two sisters Ruth Hay and Dale Cady. She is survived by her daughter Janelle Joy Holden of San Antonio, Texas, three sisters, Sue Senate of Streator, Illinois, her twin sister Erma Hampton and Dutch of Osawatomie, Kansas and Rosalie Davis of Parker, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday August 15, 2008 at the Parker United Methodist Church in Parker, Kansas. Burial will be in the Cadmus Elm Grove Cemetery.
